Founded in 2020 in Djibouti City, AfraWaya was born from a simple vision: to make East Africa's incredible destinations accessible to everyone. Our founders, having grown up exploring the diverse landscapes from the Danakil Depression to the Serengeti, wanted to share these wonders with the world.
Today, we partner with over 500 local tour operators, hotels, and car rental companies across Djibouti, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda. Every booking supports local communities and sustainable tourism practices.
